This page explains how rights holders can tell us about claimed copyright infringement, what a valid notice must include, and how we handle every complaint we receive. We accept notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Because our service is run for Canadian users, we also honour Canada's Notice and Notice regime under the Copyright Act.
1. Our Copyright Position
Digiwave IPTV takes copyright infringement claims seriously and responds to every valid notice. If you believe content available through our service infringes a copyright you own or represent, let us know using the process below. We'll investigate and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the material.
2. How to File a Copyright Notice
For your notice to be valid and handled quickly, include all four of the following:
Your contact information
- The full legal name of the copyright owner or authorized agent
- An email address and phone number
- A physical mailing address
Identification of the copyrighted work
Describe the work you believe was infringed clearly enough for us to identify it. Include the title, the rights holder and registration details if you have them. For several works, a representative list is fine.
Location of the allegedly infringing material
Tell us exactly where the material appears in connection with our service, such as URLs, channel names, program titles, timestamps or other identifying details. The more precise you are, the faster we can review it.
Required legal statements & signature
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
3. Our Review Process
- Acknowledgement: we confirm we've received your notice within 24 hours.
- Validation: our team checks that the notice is complete. If something is missing, we send it back with a clear list of what's needed, so you can resubmit without starting over.
- Investigation & action: we investigate valid complaints promptly and take appropriate action under applicable copyright law. We let you know the outcome.
4. Counter-Notification
If material you posted or provided was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice, and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a written counter-notification. It must include your contact details, a description of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the removal was a mistake, your consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable courts, and your signature. When we receive a valid counter-notification, we follow the process set out in applicable law. This may include restoring the material unless the original complainant starts legal proceedings.
5. Repeat Infringers
Where appropriate, Digiwave IPTV closes the accounts of users found to be repeat infringers, in line with our Terms of Use.
6. Where to Send Your Notice
Email your complete notice to our designated copyright agent at [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Notice" or "Copyright Notice". That subject line sends your message straight to priority handling and starts the 24-hour clock right away.
